In memory of the victims of the September 11 Attacks, we take the time to reflect on how the event changed our lives and our world. George W. Bush, the President of the United States, addressed the nation at 8:30 PM with a message that is still relevant to us more than 20 years later. The Presidential Address, dubbed “The Steel of American Resolve,” is reprinted here for us to reflect on the need for our own enduring resolve two decades after the most transformative event of the 21st century.
