A Message from David Walsh

Dear Friends,

I apologize for interrupting the always welcome interlude between Christmas and the New Year, but the days of tranquillity may also provide an opportunity for some thoughtful reflection.

First, it is never too early to contemplate what you might present at our annual meeting in Philadelphia, September 5-8, 2024.  The deadline for submission through the APSA website is January 17, 2024.  Please send me a copy of your proposal on a Word document for ease of pasting to our newsletter format.  This will be the 40th meeting of the Eric Voegelin Society.

Second, the year’s end is also a time for tax advantaged gifts.  We continue to need your support.  Please consider using our donate button found here, or you may contact our treasurer, David Whitney, [email protected]. Among our pressing expenses is the support of VoegelinView which, under the innovative leadership of our editor, Paul Krause, has seen its readership significantly increase in the past year.  No gift is too small or too large!

I look forward to hearing from you in the new year and to seeing you in Philadelphia.

With all best wishes for the New Year,

David Walsh
