Francisco Plaza is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Politics at Palm Beach Atlantic University. He received his Ph.D. in Politics at the Catholic University of America under David Walsh. His published works include El Silencio de la Democracia (Agoras, 2010), which explores the totalitarian coordinates of Chavez’ regime in Venezuela.
