ERIC VOEGELIN SOCIETY CALL FOR PAPERS OR PROPOSALS

MINI-CONFERENCE ON-LINE, JANUARY 3, 2022

 

You are invited to submit paper or panel proposals for a one day Zoom conference to coincide with Eric Voegelin’s birthday, January 3.  The conference will accommodate as many time zones as possible.  See the 2021 program here. Those who cannot attend the EVS annual meeting, which will be held in conjunction with the American Political Science Association (Montreal, September 15-18, 2022), are particularly welcome. David Walsh is the Chair Board Member of VoegelinView, President of the Eric Voegelin Society, and Professor of Political Science at Catholic University of America. He is the author of a three-volume study of modernity: After Ideology: Recovering the Spiritual Foundations of Freedom (Harper/Collins, 1990), The Growth of the Liberal Soul (Missouri, 1997), and The Modern Philosophical Revolution: The Luminosity of Existence (Cambridge, 2008). His latest book is Politics of the Person and as the Politics of Being (Notre Dame, 2015).
