Andy Connolly

Andy Connolly teaches at Hostos, CUNY in the South Bronx. He does not seek the fawning plaudits of his students or make other such sycophantic attempts at career advancement. When he wrote his book, Philip Roth and the American Liberal Tradition (Lexington Books 2017), it was purely to win a bet with a friend (who has yet to pay up). Ultimately, Andy loves all parts of his job and knows that to say anything else about that would fall prey to the kinds of pretensions that he hates.
