Edmund Carroll (BD, MA, PhD) is a scholar and arts practitioner in the interdisciplinary domains of cultural heritage, public space and community arts. He has served in several capacities, including lecturer at Dublin City University's Education Department, Ireland and at Vytautas Magnus University, Arts Faculty, Lithuania. Most recently he has been programme evaluator with the European Commission in culture, and a specialist consultant for the Council of Europe. He has a longstanding interest in Eric Voegelin studies and was also responsible for the scholarly transcription of Eric Voegelin's seminal Walter E. Chandler lecture series entitled, "The Drama of Humanity" (1967). He resides in Kaunas, Lithuania.
