In preparation for our annual meeting I encourage you to submit your proposals for papers and panels through the APSA portal.  Please also copy me in a word document with title, abstract, author, affiliation, and email address.  Our deadline is January 18, 2022.  At this point I do not have information on the number of panels allocated but expect that it will be close to the historical pattern.  As you know this is a rolling process with continuous adjustments up to the actual conference, but it is important to demonstrate your interest and commitment in this opening phase.  I look forward to receiving your submissions.

He is the author of a three-volume study of modernity: After Ideology: Recovering the Spiritual Foundations of Freedom (Harper/Collins, 1990), The Growth of the Liberal Soul (Missouri, 1997), and The Modern Philosophical Revolution: The Luminosity of Existence (Cambridge, 2008). His latest book is Politics of the Person and as the Politics of Being (Notre Dame, 2015).
